How can you help your child?
Parents can help alleviate their child's SATs stress by remaining calm, as panicking adds pressure and may hinder learning. Children are prepared for SATs throughout their school journey. Regularly assisting with home learning is one way you can support your child.
In order to ensure the build up to SATs is smooth for your child, please ensure try the following:
- Ensure your child has an early bedtime and a good night’s sleep.
- Ensure your child is punctual – they need to arrive at school on time each day by 8:30am.
- Ensure you talk to them about the test timetable for the week. Do they have any worries that we can help with?
- Ensure your child takes some time to relax.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to speak to any of our Year 6 team teachers.
